DC Sites in the Summer

Getting caught up in Estate Sales and Ebay, getting an Etsy store going (designed, not opened yet!) starting a Cleanout Business with my husband, daughter, and son-in-law, and end of the school year with a Senior!  This blog has sorely been missed by me, and I don't want to let another year go by, so while I'm vacationing for a week in Virginia, At The Pink House will be sharing this journey.

I am visiting my best friend in Virginia.  We've been friends for 34 years!  She hates when I mention the number of years, but I think it's cool that we've been friends for so long.  We have experienced the complete circle of life together and have shared so many good times and memories.  So, when we visit, we reminisce, relax, and plan a few sites to see (or not).  We're the kinda friends who can talk, or not talk, site see, or change our minds and stay home with a glass of homemade Sangria!  What more could you ask for?

Whenever we visit, whether in Western Mass or in Virginia, we try not to plan to much.  We're very content just hanging out together.  This time, we've planned just a few excursions, and depending on the weather (Severe Thunderstorms, High Heat Indexes, etc.), we'll get to do these few things.
  • The Titanic Exhibit
  • The Gems & Minerals (The Hope Diamond!)
  • Evening Visit to the Monuments
  • Georgetown Flea Market & The Antique shops on the main drag!
So for now, I'll sign off, and will be back with pictures with brief narration.

P.S.  My "Guest Blogger" said it was too much like homework, LOL...so I'll see if I can have her tell me about her morning going to the tag sale, and I'll type it.  More on that later!
